Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The RCIA or Catechumenate is the process for welcoming and initiating new members into the Catholic faith community. It is a spiritual journey of adults, which has its roots in the very beginning of the Church. It was an integral part of the early Christian tradition. Persons who were seeking admission in the Church learned what it meant to follow Jesus through the example and the teachings of the Christian community. The parish community now shares its life with its new members and offers them support and encouragement as they journey through the process. RCIA meets on Sundays from October to April. If you are experiencing a tugging at your heart to share your faith on a one-to-one basis and you are committed, Confirmed Catholic (sainthood and perfection are not required), please consider serving on RCIA.
